The product selector has been designed to aid you in the decision making process when specifying materials for your project.

All SteelPhalt slag aggregates typically achieve a PSV of 63. However, following research undertaken by Transport Research Laboratory and published in reports PPR737, PPR773 and PPR810, SteelPhalt’s products performed satisfactory in all the categories identified in the highlighted cells within the table below (which is taken from HD 36/06) and where the recommended PSV is frequently higher than 63.

NOTE: All options are SteelPhalt's recommendations but ultimately the product choice is down to the customer. Where designers are knowledgeable or have other experience of particular site conditions, an alternative PSV value can be specified.
